Project Management

Step 1: Earn Industry Credential

• Prepare for the exam either independently or by successfully completing
  • ONL524 - Project Management Applications AND
  • ONL525 - Project Management Fundamentals;
    OR
  • ONL218 - Project Management Professional Prep (PMP Prep)
• Pass the Project Management Professional (PMP®) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) Exam 

Step 2: Receive Academic Credit

• Enroll in the Business Administration or Business Management degree program and one FCC course.
• Receive academic credit for BMGT 290 - Project Management (3 credits) by contacting Registration and Records at transferevaluation@frederick.edu or 301.846.2595.

Home Inspector

Step 1: Earn Industry Credential

• Prepare for the exam either independently or by successfully completing CPD323 - Home Inspection Pre-Licensure.
• Pass the National Home Inspector Examination to become a licensed Maryland Home Inspector.

Step 2: Receive Academic Credit

• Students must be enrolled in a credit course.
• Receive academic credit for one BMGT elective (3 credits) by contacting Registration and Records at transferevaluation@frederick.edu or 301.846.2595.

Real Estate

Step 1: Earn Industry Credential

• Prepare for the exam either independently or by successfully completing REA278 - Maryland Real Estate Licensing Preparation.
• Pass the Maryland Real Estate License Exam to become a licensed Maryland Real Estate Agent.

Step 2: Receive Academic Credit

• Enroll in the Business Administration or Business Management degree program.
• Receive academic credit for BMGT elective (3 credits) by contacting Registration and Records at transferevaluation@frederick.edu or 301.846.2595.

AI, Cloud & Cybersecurity Foundations

Step 1: Earn Industry Credential

Prepare for exam/s either independently or by successfully completing
CMT150: Cloud Computing Fundamentals with Azure (AZ-900)
and/or 
CMT155: Cloud Computing Fundamentals with AWS (CLF-C02)

Pass exam/s to become either Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
and/or an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner

Step 2: Receive Academic Credit

Enroll in an FCC credit course or program.
Receive academic credit for CMIS 111V: Virtualization and Cloud Fundamentals (3 credits) by contacting Registration and Records at transferevaluation@frederick.edu or 301.846.2595.

Computer Aided Design (CAD)

Step 1: Complete Training

• Successfully complete one or more of the following workforce training courses
  • DRF107 - AutoCAD I
  • DRF108 - AutoCAD II
  • DRF103 - Revit (BIM)
• Pass the course final exam with a B or higher.

Step 2: Receive Academic Credit

• Enroll in an FCC credit program and register for at least one 3-credit course.
• Receive academic credit for one or more of the following by contacting Registration and Records at transferevaluation@frederick.edu or 301.846.2595.
  
  • CADT 101 - AutoCAD I (3 credits)
  • CADT 102 - AutoCAD II (3 credits)
  • CADT 130 - Revit (BIM) (3 credits)

Culinary Medicine

Step 1: Earn Industry Credential

• Prepare for the exam/s either independently or by successfully progressing through Tier III and Tier II coursework
  • HCT140 - Health meets Food: Culinary Medicine for Foodservice Professionals, Tier III
  • HCT141 - Health meets Food: Culinary Medicine for Foodservice Professionals, Tier II
• Pass the Certified Culinary Medicine Professional (CCMP) Certification Exam to earn Tier I: Certified Culinary Medicine Professional.

Step 2: Receive Academic Credit

• Enroll in the Culinary Arts & Supervision degree program.
• Receive academic credit for NUTR 102 - Nutrition in a Changing World (3 credits) by contacting Registration and Records at transferevaluation@frederick.edu or 301.846.2595.

Sanitation and Food Safety

Step 1: Earn Industry Credential

• Prepare for the exam either independently or by successfully completing HCT117 - Sanitation and Food Safety.
• Pass the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Exam to become a ServSafe Certified Food Protection Manager.

Step 2: Receive Academic Credit

• Enroll in Culinary Arts & Supervision AAS or the Culinary Skills Certificate program.
• Students must have achieved the ServSafe certification within three years of the date of credit application.
• Receive academic credit for HCTI 101 - Sanitation and Food Safety (2 credits) by contacting Registration and Records at transferevaluation@frederick.edu or 301.846.2595.

Electricial

Step 1: Complete Training

• Successfully complete the following workforce training courses
  • ELC181 - Fundamentals of Structural Wiring
  • ELC182 - Residential Electric
  • ELC166 - Commercial Electric
  • ELC183 - Specialized Systems
• Pass the course final exam with a B or higher.

Step 2: Receive Academic Credit

• Enroll in an FCC credit program and register for at least one 3-credit course.
• Receive academic credit for one ore more of  the following courses by contacting Registration and Records at transferevaluation@frederick.edu or 301.846.2595. 
  • BLDT 140 - Fundamentals of Structural Wiring (4 credits)
  • BLDT 241 - Residential Electric (3 credits)
  • BLDT 242 - Commercial Electric (3 credits)

HVAC

Step 1: Complete Training

  • HVC131 - Controls for HVACR

  • HVC132 - Fossil Fuels & Hydronic Heating
• Pass the course with a B or higher.
